    Default link to info

here is a link to the MLS info on this property - the photo looks pretty inviting. The agent says that she HAS to be there for showings.. I guess that they are afraid of sneak dives.

I am emailing the agent to see if they have a survey of the cave... will post.

ps - most land in High Springs is going for around 10k - 20k an acre... 80k+ seems a bit steep for anything zoned agricultural.

Do you think the seller would accept an out of state, third party. bad check, printed on a super ball?
    Dang!! Probably not.

I'd buy it, but can you imagine the Spelin' an Gramer Kop buying a piece of property where they misspelled "whippoorwill?" 8)

    Default The cave

What is the nature of the cave system? Surely with a cave diver owning it, it has been explored. Just curious.

The cave is really a large sink with a small offshoot. Sort of like a dusty Buford Sink. It doesn't go but is very cool and worth preserving. At one time I thought all three sinks, Grandma's down the road, and both of Johns sinks connected to O'leno State park which is in spitting distance of the land. I couldn't find a way to push them doesn't mean it's not possible. It's close to high springs and O'leno state park, great place for a horse or a kid. Cindy

    Default no survey

the listing agent responded.. she says that they don't have a survey of the cave but that "He (the owner) has penetrated certain amount of feet into a big area of the cave and is still continue to explore it."

Not to be mean, but I had to giggle because as I read this I thought about all those news stories we poke holes into..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no house.
Your'e paying $84,500 per acre for a beautiful piece of property with a cave that may or may not go somewhere, right?
